Tom
Rowland
VP/GENERAL MANAGER DALLAS
Tom Rowland was offered the chance to join
a construction crew in 1975 as a field engineer
at the US Steel mill in Baytown, following
attendance at the University of Houston. After
11 years in the field, Tom joined Partners
Construction and moved inside, running interior
jobs in Houston. The next opportunity in his
career trajectory came when he accepted the
role of owner’s representative on the
One Shoreline Plaza project in Corpus Christi,
Texas. In 1996, after competing for bids
from subcontractors with a fierce loyalty to
Fred Maxwell, Tom joined the company, and became
an officer at SpawMaxwell in 2003. Two
years later, Tom agreed to lead the expansion
of SpawMaxwell into the Dallas market.
Tom and his wife Dolly have one daughter,
and enjoy travel together. Tom took up
cycling in 2004 and has ridden in several
long-distance road rides, including the
popular MS 150 and the Hotter ‘N
Hell 100. Tom is a supporter of many
causes with service to:

- Hearts and Hammers
